WRITING PROMPTS: Below are list of writing prompts you can complete. You may type or hand-write your responses. If you complete them, email them to me or save them for when we return to school and I'll be happy to give you feedback. 

  1. What value is most important to your family?  How do you display it in your everyday life?

  2. What is your greatest talent?  How did you discover it?

  3. Do you think you could go one month without using the Internet?  Why or why not?  What would be the hardest part?

  4. If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose to go without and why?

  5. Have you ever made friends with someone unexpected?  Write about your experience.

  6. What would it be like to live in the White House?  Use your imagination to write a short story.

  7. If you could create your own country, what would it be called?  What laws would you put in place?

  8. What is the strangest thing that’s ever happened to you?  Write about your experience.

  9. Have you ever encountered a bully?  What did you say to him or her?

  10. In your opinion, is it important for people to study history?  Why or why not?
